Other recommendations for a healthy immune system.

Rest. During periods of rest, relaxation and sleep, potent immune-enhancing compounds are released and immune function is greatly increased. The value of sleep and rest to boost your immune system cannot be overemphasized.

Practice improved hygiene. Wash your hands often, use paper towels and tissues, and replace your toothbrush regularly. I recommend using hand soap and facial dips designed especially for high-performance hygiene. Hygienic hand soap is not medicated, is not designed to make you smell good, and is not intended to kill bacteria (which would only promote the growth of more resistant forms). It is designed to emulsify bacteria so that they're washed away. Be sure you purchase products designated to combat self-infection and follow the directions carefully.
