“I have used Berberine for about 6 weeks now and the results are amazing. I have not had results like these from anything the doctor had me on. I am telling everyone I know about Berberine.”*
— Linda D.
Berberine is GREAT!! I am so glad that I tried it. My blood sugar is very good and I have told a lot of people to try it. I have sent a lot of people my emails from you and have given out my catalogs, hoping to inform people.”*
— Ken B.

Berberine+ GlucoDefense takes the power of Berberine and kicks it up a notch—adding the renowned ingredients cinnamon and chromium!

My Berberine+ GlucoDefense is an advanced version of my best-selling Berberine, containing a combination of ingredients in the dosages shown in clinical studies to support fasting blood glucose and A1C levels, and normal triglyceride and cholesterol levels. The research also shows that when berberine and cinnamon are combined, bioavailability and potency of berberine increases! By combining berberine, cinnamon, and chromium all together in one supplement, I’ve developed my ultimate secret weapon in the blood sugar battle. In fact, given the dramatic results my patients have seen with Berberine, plus the ever-growing body of clinical research, Berberine+ GlucoDefense is now one of my top recommendations for blood sugar support. What’s more, instead of concocting their own “formulas,” my patients—and now all my customers—have an effective, all-in-one supplement ready to go!

Why did I combine berberine and cinnamon? Traditional Chinese medicine holds the key.

Long before “modern” medicine, traditional Chinese doctors applied their wisdom to naturally treat many ailments. One of their specialties was combining herbs that worked better when taken together than taken individually—which included berberine and cinnamon to treat blood sugar and related conditions. And though this was widely accepted in Chinese medicine, no clinical research was available for today’s scientists who were eager to duplicate the results for themselves. Until now…In a recent study analyzing the effects of cinnamon on the absorption of berberine, it was shown that cinnamon promotes berberine absorption in the intestine, increases concentration of berberine in the blood, and lengthens the time it stays in the system.1

3 Powerful Ingredients Triple Your Healthy Blood Sugar Support!

Berberine+ GlucoDefense contains the exact same researched dosage—1,500 mg—of Berberine as my original formula. Plus, I’ve added two new ingredients—cinnamon and chromium—for even more support!

1. BERBERINE—A plant alkaloid and naturally occurring compound found in the roots, rhizomes, and stem bark of various plants, berberine works by targeting a key regulator of metabolism, the AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) enzyme. AMPK regulates glucose uptake and the synthesis of glucose transporters—which move glucose out of your blood and into your cells, where it is converted to energy. Berberine may also increase the number and activity of the insulin receptors, promoting insulin sensitivity. On top of that, AMPK facilitates the burning of fatty acids in your cells, which is why it is a powerful tool for helping keep blood lipid levels in check. Get the BACKED BY SCIENCE details here.

2. CINNAMON—Well known for its blood sugar benefits, cinnamon contains a water-soluble polyphenol called methylhydroxychalcone (MHCP). Evidence suggests that MHCP may help activate insulin receptors and work synergistically with insulin to improve insulin sensitivity, which helps increase glucose utilization in the body. Get the BACKED BY SCIENCE details here.

3. CHROMIUM—An essential trace element required for normal fat and carbohydrate metabolism, chromium enhances insulin sensitivity by increasing the number of binding sites on cells for insulin to allow for better transport of glucose into the cells for energy. With Berberine+ GlucoDefense, I’ve taken healthy blood sugar support to the next level, incorporating three individual dynamos into one supercharged team! But I couldn’t have done it without my ace research department. They went above and beyond, incorporating all of my “must-have” requirements:

  • It had to contain the same 1,500 mg dosage as my original Berberine
  • It had to include the researched dosages of cinnamon and chromium
  • And those research dosages had to be provided in the same easy 3 pills per day amount (one with each meal)

Once again, my team exceeded expectations, and so Berberine+ GlucoDefense was born!

Previously, I wrote that the Berberine caused me to have cramping, joint pain and muscle pain. I was wrong. It wasn't the Berberine, it was diet soft drinks. Sorry!!! The Berberine is wonderful. My Blood sugar has dropped(…). I have been able to control the blood sugar without medication thanks to Berberine.

After taking for just a couple of months my unexplained uncontrolled blood sugar (has) returned back to a normal range. I've changed nothing else, just started taking this supplement. Just received my 2nd 7 mo supply. Highly recommended.

This is the only product I have tried that lowers my blood sugar without uncomfortable side effects. I do need to monitor my blood glucose, though, as if I take the Berberine and my daily activity level is higher than usual, the readings can drop a little too low.

I took it for a month and saw no change in my blood sugar levels. Won't be continuing to take it. At least it did not upset my stomach or have any other unwanted effects.

My blood sugar as gone up (...) since I started taking this. I plan to go back to just Berberine, it worked. Not sure why they ruined a good product.

Science and Quality

In one study, participants were given 1,500 mg berberine. Significant decreases compared to baseline were seen in A1C, fasting blood glucose (FBG), postprandial blood glucose (PBG), and triglycerides (TG). FBG and PBG reached their lowest values at week 5 and remained at those levels until the end of the study.2 In another study, participants were given 500–1,500 mg of berberine per day. A mean 25% decrease in LDL and 25% decrease in triglycerides were observed.3

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study examining the effects of 1g cinnamon daily (the equivalent dosage in Berberine+ GlucoDefense) against placebo—participants showed significant improvement (reduction) in fasting serum glucose, triglycerides, LDL cholesterol, and total cholesterol with no significant changes in the placebo groups. Higher dosages (3g and 6g) were also included in the study with similar results.4

Research at the 200 mcg dosage (the dosage in Berberine+ GlucoDefense) suggests that chromium supplementation helps promote insulin efficiency and maintain normal blood glucose levels.5
