When it comes to weight loss, it’s easy to get off track. There are temptations around every diabesity challenge tip: create a support systemcorner, and hectic daily schedules and the sheer “busyness” of life can make exercise a chore. The key to navigating these potential pitfalls is to create a support system.

Choose a friend or family member that you can regularly check in with regarding your diet and exercise plan. If this person is trying to lose weight too, that’s even better. You can share tips and recipes, keep each other motivated, and turn to one another for support if you find yourself slipping or wanting to give up.

The bottom line: Creating a diet/exercise “buddy system” makes you responsible to someone else can help you stay the course.
