Glucosamine is a type of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), constituents of joint cartilage that function to attract water into the joint space for lubrication of and nutrient delivery to the cartilage. It helps maintain normal space surrounding the joint, improves joint function, and helps relieve everyday joint aches and pains.
