The Resistance Chair is a special folding chair that includes the unique Resistance Chair Anchor Cable™ System. With the chair you get four cables that give you moderate resistance, perfect for strengthening your muscles, maintaining flexibility and promoting healthy bone density.
Once you set the cables, the Resistance Chair positions you correctly for each exercise. This is important because doing resistance training in the right position is what helps you avoid injury, and more importantly, it gives you the biggest payoff for your effort.
You can use the included Posture Prop™ to correctly position your back. And there’s a HealthStep™ that slides under your feet, a real blessing for shorter people. The seated exercises work out your upper arms and abdomen with chest presses, overhead presses, stomach crunches, and more. Then you just slide the HealthStep behind the chair to do knee bends, side steps, and other lower body exercises.

The Resistance Chair comes with a FREE DVD that walks you through the workout, if you want to use it. Or you can use the easy-to-follow wall chart, which you’ll also receive free with your purchase. At the top of the chart is a stretching and warm-up routine you can do while seated in the chair. Then there are 13 different strength exercises—each working out different muscle groups.
Your chair will come packaged in one box. Simply open the box and unfold the chair. The Posture Prop and HealthStep just slide into place. Since it’s lightweight and portable you can use it indoors or out, even while watching TV.
Then, once you’re finished with your workout, simply fold up the chair and store it in a closet, behind a door, under your bed—or in any other small space. It’s very compact and will fit nearly anywhere.
