For the first time ever, researchers have uncovered an exact blend of nutrients to significantly lower intraocular pressure. The exclusive, patent-pending Mirtogenol®, available now in new Ocular Pressure & Retina Defense, combines the highest-quality extracts of bilberry and pine bark.

The highest quality nutrients for unprecedented ocular pressure results

The Mirtoselect® Bilberry is the best on the market. With a high concentration of anthocyanosides, or super-antioxidants, Mirtoselect Bilberry increases microcirculation. Pycnogenol® Maritime French Pine extract is cultivated from the pines that thrive along the coast of France. The extract from these trees has been shown most effective in improving intraocular pressure and blood flow.

Two clinical studies show impressive results with Mirtogenol

Mirtogenol has been the subject of two clinical studies. One study, using 120 mg of Mirtogenol, lowered intraocular pressure by a significant 9 points. In a second study using 240 mg of Mirtogenol, 19 out of 20 people saw a reduction in intraocular pressure where only 1 out of 18 subjects in the control group saw a difference.

My eye Dr. had on a previous visit, told me I had boarder line high ocular pressure. I found out about your product and began taking it daily per label. One year later I returned for a follow-up and found that the pressure in both eyes is well within the normal range. I love taking a natural product really works for me.

It has been working very well for me, I could see like water rings around my left eye and it just would not go away until started taking OP&RD and found out the next morning it was gone. Surprised it was that fast . Normally natural products take a while to work their way through the problem one has, but this was fast. Thanks again Dr. Whitaker, you are right again.

I have eye problems and have had surgery. Recovery has been steady and doctor is pleased, so am I. My hope is that this product will contribute to that steady progress.

I have not seen a lowering of my ocular pressure. I take the pills every day. Yet my pressure still hangs where it was -- in the 14 to 17 range. I am still hoping.

Having had one eye removed following neovascular glaucona after radiation plaque therapy for malignant melanoma, I am very careful about my remainig eye. When the ocular pressure increased slightly my Ophthamologist prescribed Lumigan eye drops as a precautionary measure. With his OK, I started taking Ocular Pressure Defense instead and the pressure has not increased any further. At $240 for a bottle of a prescription medicine, this is much more reasonable. (Although insurance did pay most of that) As long as the pressure doesn't increase I will keep on taking it. Thanks for this alternative .

Scientific Support

Researchers divided 38 subjects to either supplementation with 240 mg of Mirtogenol daily, or no treatment at all. Subjects were followed for 6 months. Blood flow in the central retinal artery, ophthalmic artery and posterior ciliary artery all increased in the Mirtogenol group after 3 and 6 months of treatment.1

In a second trial, researchers examined the effect of Mirtogenol (120 mg/day) on intraocular pressure in 79 healthy subjects for 6 months. Similar results were seen with ocular blood flow, with Mirtogenol increasing blood flow.2
