Within 2 months my total cholesterol dropped [...]. My LDL dropped [...]. They also have had a positive result on my fasting glucose levels (which I wasn't as concerned with) but it is also impressive. I had researched clinical trials for Berberine before my purchase here, and I am pleased with the results so far. Hopefully the Berberine will continue to drop and get my LDL into the "Normal" range. The only downside that I see is that the price for one bottle has risen a whole $5 per bottle since I originally purchased them only two months ago.

But I continue to take it in the hope my body will utilize it. Not sure it will and haven't found anything that works. But I keep trying.

Not too happy with this product. Was on this product for 30 days and [saw no improvements]. Another 60 days might've been different.

Scientific Support

The two-part study showed that 1,500 mg of berberine daily achieved significant improvement in both fasting and postprandial blood glucose levels. A second double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 110 participants not only backed up the results from the previous study, but showed even more benefits of berberine, including a full 25% decline in both total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol, as well as lower triglyceride levels.1

That’s because Berberine works by targeting an ancient regulator of metabolism, the activated protein kinase (AMPK) enzyme. AMPK regulates glucose uptake by your cells and the synthesis of glucose transporters—which helps move glucose out of your blood and into your cells, where it belongs. Berberine may also increase the number and activity of the insulin receptors on your cells, promoting insulin sensitivity. On top of that, AMPK facilitates the burning of fatty acids in your cells, which is why it’s a powerful tool for helping keep blood lipid levels in check.
