Limiting these foods in your diet helps put a damper on cravings
Transcript
This is Julian Whitaker, M.D. with a Whitaker Wellness Tip.
Orson Welles, the acclaimed and obese actor and director once said, "My doctor told me to stop having intimate dinners for four, unless there are three other people."
Now, overeating is an issue for many of us. And, although everyone who wants to lose weight realizes the importance of cutting calories, it's easier said than done.
A good way to put an end to overeating is to avoid starches and sugars. They fuel cravings by causing dramatic rises and falls in blood sugar, which send out hunger signals that are impossible to resist. If you're trying to drop a few pounds, try cutting out bread, crackers, potatoes, rice, and desserts and see for yourself what a difference it can make.
This is Julian Whitaker, M.D., assisting you in your personal quest for optimal health.
